As the word “Nuri”, which means the ‘world’ in pure Korean, expresses, the Nuri Astronomical Observatory is an open astronomic al observatory linking the human world and the world of stars.
Nuri Astronomical Observatory provides a state-of-the-art science and cultural experience. Concepts of space are planted in the hearts and minds of growing youths. Future dreams dance before the minds of those who visit the observatory. It is not only with an astronomical observatory, but also has helpful and substantial facilities, which include an astronomy and space experimentatio n center, 4-dimensional theatre and planetarium. It is located on the fourth floor of Daeya Library in Daeya-dong and used as expe rience learning for families and students.
